The course provides an integration of psychological theoretical approaches that question the hereto standard business and marketing models. Students will develop a sound understanding of consumer behaviour and the environmental and psychological factors that influence consumer choice.
On completion of the course students will be able to critically evaluate psychological theories and techniques and assess their potential for use in appropriate business situations. They will also be able to critically analyse business strategies and problems from a consumer psychology perspective in order to provide a range of solutions. Students will develop the ability to design and manage research projects and interventions in consumer-led business.
