Every year the ABP boasts a flagship event championing the application of psychology to the workplace. This year, the ABP conference is celebrating its 17th anniversary. The theme for this year’s conference is the dark side and will bring together the latest in thinking across 4 main streams: The Dark side of leadership; disruptive talent and innovation and managing the dark side - diversity, well being and resilience. Due to the popularity of workshops in previous years, we have for the first time introduced an entire stream featuring a range of workshops from:
JCA - a workshop examining how emotional intelligence can be used to manage the dark side
Meta profiling - an exciting new psychometric exploring entrepreneurial capability
Pan - How to construct, build and host your own psychometric and reach a larger customer base
Cognadev - tbc
The School of Life - a workshop focused on developing resilience
Mentis - Use of the Hogan Dark Side questionnaire. Title tbc
Workshops are popular and we ask people attending the conference to email firstname.lastname@example.org to register their interest as places on workshops are limited.
ABP conferences are characterised by their friendliness, quality content, engaging format and focus on an evidence based approach. There are no rows of seating. Instead, we have round tables. Panel debates, workshops, interactive sessions and a choice at any time of 4 streams means you get the conference you want. A meeting of minds and an exchange of ideas.
