Conference News
Were you there? Did your brain overflow with ideas? Did you gather lots of business cards? Did you enjoying the partying? Did you wonder what you missed?
Thank you to all of you who came along and made the conference happen. From the feedback we’ve received, via email, in person and via the surveys we are pleased you found it an enjoyable learning experience. Many of you feel reinvigorated and have walked away with new ideas to apply in your everyday work. As well as raising £1,111 for the charity Shaw Trust!

Enthusiastic line dancers!
The keynotes were a particular hit; we welcomed Bridget Rosewell an economist with a thought provoking session on ‘agent behaviour’ to open the conference. Followed by Cliff Lansley and Aaron Garner on Friday and their session ‘Lie to Me’ with their dramatic use of a blowtorch and an audience test/retest in spotting microexpressions. And on Saturday Professor Jo Silvester gave us an engaging insight into the successful leadership personality characteristics of our politicians.

Folk feeling lucky in a game of blackjack at the casino!
Of course a huge thank you to our speakers who were generous with their time and ideas bringing you a range of sessions and learning opportunities.
And for those of you who volunteered in the ‘Delivering our Future’ session; the ABP Board members will be in touch soon.
